Since 2013 began, I have had a few lame-os come visit me in Dublin. I had the beautiful (and loud) Soph and Jess come visit me for a long weekend - one of the best weekends I can remember having in a long time! It was so great to see those crazy girls again after such a long time (I think that the last time I saw them was two Christmases ago?). We got some piercings and a couple of tattoos (WILD), went on a pub crawl, listened to some Trad music in Temple Bar, tasted oysters (yuck!), had breakfast FO' FREE at the Merrion...great success!

A little while after that I got a surprise from my Guelphy friends - I was told over a Facebook status that four of my Canadian besties would be coming over for Reading Week! They were here for 10 days, and it was amazing having them here. It was like they lived here the entire time - I would get off work in the evenings and we would all hang out or go out. They did all of the cultural things by themselves, I was so proud of them :') I can't wait to see them in just a couple short months in Guelph, but I can't believe that means that my year in Dublin is almost up :(
